LKA 2021
Judge :- Ernie Paterson

I found the breed very challenging today particularly in front assemblies which need serious attention in my view, many are very narrow with poor bone and bad feet.
MPD (6) 1 Dearman & Henson’s Lisjovia Eternal Guardian for Pyrenees, well made youngster scored in front for bone and feet, has a good body developing and moved out fore and aft. 2 Fineberg’s Lisjovia Sloe Gin Gloe, good overall balance just needs to come together and tighten a little in front, sound mover. 3 Holmes’ Lisjovia Harvey Wall Banger
PD (2) 1 Challinor’s Shanlimore Marvin, liked the size and balance on this boy, well off for bone good head and pigment, looked good in profile and scored in hind action over the second. 2 Hall’s Lisjovia Harvey Wall Banger, overall looks the part and scores in size, masculine outlook has a good front assembly just needs to settle in movement.
J (3) 1 Hall’s Lisjovia Insomnia, lovely head and eye, good neck and shoulders body developing well and maintains a firm top line on the move, he looks good in profile and has sufficient reach and drive. Would like a tighter foot.
PGD (7) 1 Kennedy’s Pyrcot Spirit of Ohara, loved the balance here, very nice head properties clean neck and shoulders, first rate front and feet. Deep well made body with good quarters, he uses himself well on the move. RCC. 2 Jones’ Lisjovia A Sky Full Of Stars, very glamorous male and very well presented, well off for bone though he is a little wide in front, that said he is very sound and positive out and back.
3 Thompson’s Madrasleibhe Croaghaunb
L (2) 1 Cuhello’s Night Owl, mature male with good overall balance strong well made body, good front but would like a little more angulation behind. Moved ok front and aft.
OD (7) 1 Reilly’s UK/ Swiss/IR/ Multi Int Ch Lisjovia Boris Bear, lovely head and expression excellent pigmentation, scores in front and feet. Good neck and shoulders, first rate body and top line, was a little sluggish on the move here but got his act together in the challenge. CC BOB and Group 2. 2 Downes’ Ch Rivergroves All The Right Moves II at Belsha, very worthy champion good overall balance not the front assembly of one but very smart on the move. 3 Holmes’ Lisjovia Takahashi
Vet (2) 1 Downes’ Ch Belshanmish Orange Crush, 8 year old scored in body properties and rear angulation would have like more in front assembly but gave a good account of himself on the move.
MPB (6) 1 Woodward’s Lisjovia Ballet Russe, excellent front assembly and equally good rear, lovely head and eye smart mover free and active. 2 Cochran’s Lisjovia Love on The Rocks For Myatoksci, very similar to winner so same comments apply just not quite so firm in front at the moment. 3 Hall’s Lisjovia Scotch Solace
PB (4) 1 Goodwin’s Lisjovia White Lady Avec Montnusique, very smart youngster developing along correct lines, feminine head dark eyes and lovely expression, dry good bone and feet. Deep body with firm top line looks great in profile so sound. Best Puppy. 2 Hall’s Lisjovia Scotch Solace, scores for bone, clean neck and shoulders firm well made body not quite the freedom in movement of winner.
JB (3) 1 Hopkins’ Lisjovia Sweet But Psycho, looks good when stacked and handles well, is a little wide in front and would prefer a darker eye.
PGB (2)1 Asher’s Patablanca Phoenix, has a good front and feet, lovely eyes and expression well laid shoulder, and strong quarters good on the move. 2 Hopkins’ Lisjovia Sweet But Psycho
LB (5) 1 Dearman & Henson’s Lisjovia Witches Promise For Pyrenees. Well made right through, feminine but with substance very good front assembly great neck and shoulders. Firm top line strode out well and looked the part. RCC 2 Haverstock’s Kalkadi The Eternal Chase, scores for balance but would like a little more angulation fore and rear that said she moves well and looks good in profile.
OB (8) 1 Pollard’s Gillandant Xmas Spice, lovely size and balance, nice head and eye very good pigment, enough bone and good feet, body is well made with strong quarters used all on the move she looked great on the move.CC 2 Thorne’s Ch Belshanmish Pretty In Pink at Pyrajay, another well made and looks great when stacked, equally good to go over with good balance in front and rear, just lacked a little drive going away. 3 Hayes & Gibson Febus Jumilhac
