I would like to thank WKC committee for inviting me to judge the Pyreneans, also thank you to my stewards & all exhibitors for entering with your beautiful dogs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day all the dogs were beautifully presented.

VD 1 Thorne’s Alchazandis Rupert Bear at Pyrajay, 9 years, shown in immaculate condition, moved steady around the ring, good bone, level topline, good length of tail, a credit to his owner.

1 Duffell’s Kalkasi A Star Is Born of Ricaduffal, 7 months, still very much a baby, coloured head markings, dark eye, would like tighter flews, earset OK, in good coat condition, played owner up when moving, however when he set his mind to it moved OK.

1 Ford’s Montimur No More Mr Nice Guy, 11 months, lovely head shape, correct eye colour, well boned with nice tight feet, level topline, good angulation, in super coat condition; 2 Tadd’s Jacko Du Haras De Chante Neige avec Kricarno, 9 months, very tall boy, in good clean coat condition, nice head, earset & expression, good pigment, correct dentition, moved OK.

1 Greenfield’s Gillandant Shakeelah, lovely head, very attractive Blaireau markings & pigment, correct length of neck going down to good shoulder placement, straight front, level topline of which he kept on the move, good rear angulation, moved out well with drive, coat was presented to perfection. CC, BOB, I am sure his title is not far away; 2 Downes’ Pyrpressure’s My American Dream at Belshanmish, loved this dog’s head & expression, correct eye shape & colour with good black pigment, good dentition, correct shoulder placement, level topline, moved with drive, top marks on presentation, well handled. RCC; 3 Ford’s Desalazara Fernando.

1 Bowker’s Ch Febus Mauvezin, attractive head markings, dark eye, good pigment, correct length of neck going down to good shoulder placement, level topline, nice tight feet, moved with drive, well presented; 2 Willcock’s Penellcy Guard Of Honour, good head shape with correct eye colour, pigment & earset, level topline, good angulation, in excellent coat condition, did not have the drive of 1.

VB 1 Pollard’s Ch Gillandant Sugar And Spice, this girl is still winning top awards & I am not surprised, feminine head, correct eye shape & colour giving a true Pyr expression, correct length of neck going down to good shoulder placement, good length of back & rear angulation, well muscled thighs, good tailset & tight feet, moved out well. CC, BV, the mother of my BOB.

Three litter sisters, so alike in many ways. 1 Ford’s Montimur Iris Of The Storm, 11 months, most appealing head & expression, correct pigment & earset, well placed shoulders, good topline, straight front & good rear angulation, neat feet, moved out well, a very promising puppy, I am sure has a great future. BP, RCC; 2 Ford’s Montimur Use Your Illusion, similar remarks to 1, but heavier in body & type, in good coat condition & moved out well; 3 Wilcock’s Montimur Sweet Child Of Mine at Penellcy.

1 Thorne’s Belshanmish Pretty In Pink at Pyrajay, aptly named, lovely head shape & eye colour, correct length of neck going down to tight shoulder placement, straight front, level topline, good bone & neat feet, good tail carriage, moved with drive, in super coat condition, maturing nicely, another with a great future, handled well.

1 Ford’s Lisjovia Whistling Dixie for Montimur, nice type, coloured head markings, correct length of muzzle & eye colour, straight front, correct shoulder placement & rear angulation with good muscle, level topline, moved out well; 2 Downes’ Lisjovia Spirit Of The Wind at Belshanmish, litter sister to 1, finer in head than 1, but good type, dentition, pigment, rear angulation good, very balanced, moved well, super coat condition.

1 Ford’s Desalazara Dancing Queen, stood alone, nice type, liked her head not overdone, very feminine, correct eye shape & colour, dentition good, lay of shoulder correct, straight front, moderate rear angulation, level topline, moved with drive.
