I am sorry some of you had to wait so long to get in the ring. A plus point was the good ring size & being under cover when the weather closed in, I had forgotten how much Pyreneans dislike the rain. I am sure a lot of them would have performed better if the sun had been shining. A lot as expected had or were blowing their coats, but presentation was good & they all behaved impeccably.

VD (3,1a) 1 Wells’ Sketrick Illustrious, 7 years old, not showing his age, very nice head shape, eyes of good colour & shape, very good pigmentation, strong through front & rear & moved with style; 2 Thorne’s Alchazandia Rupert Bear at Pyrajay, nearly 8 years, shown in lovely condition, moved out well, still retains good pigmentation & moved well. PD (4) 1 Draper’s Desalazara Jerez, tall well grown boy of 9 months, light blaireau markings on head which is of correct shape, good mouth with black lips, flews a little loose, dark eye with black pigment, shoulder angles are OK, with nice depth to chest, moderate angulation to rear, holds his topline & moved well; 2 O’ Rourke’s Desalazara Monza, litter brother to above, very similar, nice head & eye, well grown & once settled moved OK; 3 Mcdowell & Asher’s Granchester Imoulou. JD (3) 1 D Monza; 2 Coles’ Gillandant Polar Express, 4th in the puppy class, still very immature, but lots to like, head is coming along, eyes of good shape with black rims, mouth good, shoulders & rear are OK, just needs time to all come together; 3 Mcdowell & Asher’s Rudy Du Grand Tendre at Grandchester. PGD (7,4) 1 Meakin’s Amandjena Carson Nevada, at 19 months has a correct eye & pigmentation good mouth, shoulders well placed, level topline, enough depth to chest, well angulated rear with good strength to hocks & moved well, just needs to mature; 2 Salter’s Kricarno Kookie, stronger in head than above, good pigmentation, eye rather round, good mouth, shoulders OK, topline level, enough depth through chest, well angulated rear & very reluctant on the move; 3 Shepherd’s Gillandant The Illusionist at Anantgarde. LD (5,1) 1 Waters’ Sketrick Next Connection, has a beautiful head & expression, eye of good colour & shape tight fitting rims with good pigmentation, mouth correct with tight fitting flews, shoulders of correct angle, enough depth & width to chest, moderate angulations through the rear, another one who wasn’t putting all in on the move today & it cost him in the challenge; 2 Absolom’s Fontenay Newton Wonder, stronger in head than winner, well made through body, well presented in good coat & moved well retaining topline; 3 Wells’ Sketrick Lupo. OD (9,2) 1 Baverstock’s Ch/Ir Ch Kalkaski In High Spirits, headed a class of top quality males, nice head shape with correct eye, mouth good, lovely straight front with good shoulder placement, deep through chest with ample width, level topline & a strong well angulated rear, shown in first class condition, covers the ground with ease. Shor listed in a very strong pastoral group. CC & BOB; 2 Savage’s Vi’skalys Harry Honda at Kington, most beautiful head & expression with tan markings, dark well shaped eye, correct mouth with tight fitting lips, well angulated fore & aft, plenty of substance throughout, strong topline, just a bit reluctant to move today but was sound. Moved better in the challenge to take the RCC; 3 Bayliss’ Ch Shiresoak Wizards Legend.

PB (3,1) 1 Mcdowell & Asher’s Granchester Chanson D’amour, 7 months, nearly all white, head of correct proportions with a well shaped dark eye, shoulders & rear are OK, moved well; 2 Cochrane’s Granchester Cherie Amour, litter sister to above & thoroughly enjoying her day out, lovely dark eye, nice head developing, good pigmentation, pretty girl, movement appeared sound but difficult to access as she was enjoying herself. JB (6,1) 1 Baverstock’s Mizeka A Touch Of Class with Kalkasi, 14 months with blaireau markings, very nice head shape, good eye & mouth, shoulders & rear are correct, enough substance & moved very well; 2 Tadd’s Kricarno Krystal Konchita, tall girl, well presented, head shape good, eye of good colour but a little round, pigmentation is good, well placed shoulder good depth to body & moved well; 3 Traynor’s Strondafjorden Flippinheck Amara at Calsassa. PGB (4,1) 1 Waters’ Sketrick Nom De Plume, well presented nearly all white, nice head shape & correct eye giving desired expression, straight front with good shoulder placement, well angulated rear with strong hocks & moved well; 2 Baverstock’s Mizeka a Touch Of Class with Kalkasi; 3 Absolom’s Fontenay Nicotlana. LB (3,1) 1 Pollard’s Gillandant Sizzling Spice, not a big girl but so very well made, darkest of eyes & pigment, good shoulders, level towline, well angulated with strong hocks, easy free mover; 2 Vogler’s Mezurlaska Zianon Lace, slightly larger than above, nice body shape, good shoulder & and rear angulations, strong hocks, moved well, very close to above just preferred head shape. OB (8,2) 1 Carlin’s Rosemere Xanthia, such a pretty feminine girl, loved her head shape with the correct eye giving that lovely expression, good mouth with perfect pigmentation, sound front with good shoulders & rear angulations, enough depth a width to body, well presented, moved freely. CC; 2 Edwards’ Gillandant Leyla via Shanlimore, another top quality bitch, lovely head & eye, good dark pigmentation, sound front & good rear assembly enables her to move with such style, first class presentation.
