Judge ROBIN SEARLE

Since I last judged the breed I feel it has improved a lot on breed type & movement. There were no unstable hocks, weak hindquarters or overweight dogs shown under me. Delighted to see the BOB Symphony’s Legacy win the group. Well done.

PD (3) 1 McDowell & Asher’s Granchester Imoulou, quality 7 months old, excellent head, black markings with good size teeth, bone & type. Sound but of course puppy movement. Good temperament; 2 Roberts & Phoenix’s Galliagh Tourmalet, well grown for age. Needs more time to mature in temperament & bone; 3 Stranger & Hutchinson’s Febus Lastours.
JD (1) 1 G Tourmalet.
PGD (2) 1 Keith’s Shanlimore Let It Be for Beverlenn, nice size with dark points. Out of coat but good colour. Movement is a bit slack, needs more roadwork in my opinion.
LD (4) 1 Wilcock’s Penellcy Guard Of Honour, sound moving, good bone & body, liked his head & eye shape, calm temperament, nice coat & texture. Enjoying his day; 2 Cochrane’s Pyroni New Brunswick Boy for Myatorsci, good front, bone & feet, good general shape & type. Not as sound as 1; 3 S Let It Be for Beverlenn.
OD (6) 1 CC, Ford’s Kalkasi Dancer With Wolves for Montimur, lovely shape & bodied quality dog. Calm sensible temperament. Typical head expression, dark points & nice coat. Moves well & easy; 2 RCC, Baverstock’s Ch Kalkasi In High Spirits, similar pattern & type, well handled, flowing topline, straight front & good depth of rib, sound; 3 Kenyon & Ward’s Charibere Simply Special at Chezanna.

PB (2) 1 Holmes’ Abstrax Blaze Of Glory for Lisjovia, sound easy mover. Nice head & good size teeth. In between coats at the moment. Needs time to mature; 2 McDowell & Asher’s Granchester Chanson D’Amour, so much the baby giving a lot of time away. Sensible temperament with good bone.
JB (6) 1 Holmes’ Lisjovia Kivonari, good outline with flowing topline & nice length of neck, solid body, bone & calm temperament. Like most out of coat; 2 Baverstock’s Mizeka A Touch Of Class with Kalkasi, very similar but just a little smaller overall. Like head type & balance; 3 Sang’s Mizeka A Hint Of Gold.
PGB (4) 1 Ireland’s Gillandant Samirah, nice head & eyes, good bone & rib with hard loin & using her hocks well on the move; 2 M Touch Of Class with K; 3 M Hint Of Gold.
OB (7) 1 CC & BOB, Marston’s Charibere Symphony’s Legacy, strong, well made, good shoulders, neck & topline, sound free moving. A fit healthy dog. Nice type & good breed points; 2 RCC, Sang’s Ch Kalkasi Destiny’s Spirit at Mizeka, good bone, excellent rib & hard loin. Moves well, balanced overall. Another nice one; 3 Moffat & Holmes’ Lisjovia Simoncelli via Kyleca.
